Toronto Holiday Markets 2026, Compared: One of a Kind, Evergreen, Willowdale and More Events

Toronto's holiday-market season is crowded, and the options range from a huge ticketed craft show to free neighbourhood sales in church halls. Based on a 2026 listing published October 21, here is how the biggest and most distinctive ones compare, and how to pick the right one for your weekend.

The big craft show: One of a Kind Christmas Show

The One Of a Kind Christmas Show runs at Enercare Centre from November 26 to December 6, 2026, with pricing listed from free to $42 depending on ticket type. It is the largest indoor option on the calendar, which makes it the place to shop for many gift recipients in one trip. The trade-off is size: expect crowds on weekends and a paid ticket for most visits.

The outdoor-feeling one: The Winter Market at Evergreen Brick Works

The Winter Market at Evergreen Brick Works runs November 29 to December 20, with admission listed at $0 to $5. Evergreen Brick Works is at 550 Bayview Avenue, and in the previous season the market ran on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., so check the current schedule before you go. It suits families and anyone who likes a market that doubles as a day out in the Don Valley.

The free neighbourhood options

If you would rather skip tickets, several markets are free. The Toronto Botanical Garden Holiday EcoMarket is listed from November 20 to December 20 at no cost, and is a good fit for plant lovers and eco-minded gift shoppers. The Willowdale Christmas Market & Tree Lighting at Mel Lastman Square runs November 27 to 29, free with a suggested $5 food bank donation. In the east end, Art in the Beach at Beach United Church (November 13 to 15) is free, as is the GAS Holiday Market at Gerrard Art Space (November 21 and 22). The Holiday Open House at 401 Richmond on November 26 is also free and works well as an after-work stop.

One-day and quirky picks

The Swedish Christmas Fair at George Brown's Waterfront Campus (November 21 and 22) is free and offers a specific cultural flavour. The Nightmare Before Christmas Market at The Village at Black Creek is a one-day free event on November 21. The City of Craft Holiday Market at The Theatre Centre runs December 4 to 6 and is a good choice for handmade, independent makers. The Toronto Zoo Holiday Marketplace (November 14 and 15) comes with regular zoo admission.

Light and festive displays

Markets are not the only draw. Previous-season TTC holiday guidance pointed riders to the Cavalcade of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square, Holidays at The Well, Holiday Hills at Stackt Market, Winterfest at Harbourfront Centre and Christmas at the Castle at Casa Loma. Dates change each year, so confirm the 2026 schedules with each organizer. The Distillery Winter Village is listed for November 12 to January 3, 2027, with costs from free to $30-plus in fees depending on what you book.

How to choose

Match the market to the job. For a big gift-shopping haul, go to One of a Kind and budget for a ticket. For a relaxed family outing, pick Evergreen Brick Works. For free and local, choose the Botanical Garden EcoMarket, Willowdale, or a neighbourhood sale near you. For something specific or unusual, look at the Swedish Christmas Fair or City of Craft. Go early on weekends, bring a bag, and check each organizer's site for dates and hours before heading out, since listings can change.
